After being limited to 106 games last year due to an elbow injury and sports hernia, Cleveland Indians’ star centerfielder Grady Sizemore’s luck does not appear to be getting any better.

The Associated Press reported that Sizemore contacted Major League Baseball investigators to have them stop the publication of some risque’ photos of himself that he claims were stolen from his girlfriend’s email. Apparently Sizemore took the photos of himself in front of a bathroom mirror with his cell phone and sent them to his girlfriend.

After posting a 65-97 record during the 2009 season, rest assured that Indians’ General Manager Mark Shapiro did not want to deal with this. Although the photos appear to be illegally taken, it would be wise for Sizemore to be reminded that emailing partially nude photos of himself is not a good idea–especially if you don’t want them to show up on the internet. I wouldn’t use snail mail either, Grady.

If I was Shapiro, I would take away Sizemore’s cell phone and ground him from Myspace and Facebook until he could prove to me that he was no longer going to take partially nude photos of himself.  That was a joke. I would just use one of the photos as his player profile photo for all Indians’ media and press.
